A Message from the Pastor ---

Greetings and welcome to First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ)  Pauls Valley Oklahoma's website.  We are so glad you dropped in to check us out!

Our congregation welcomes you to explore this website and to especially make note of the church's worship time of 10:30 a.m. each Sunday morning on our Facebook page.  We currently are enjoying in-person worship and you are cordially invited to join us each Sunday.  Currently, masks are optional.

We are a vital and growing congregation that simply wants to worship together, fellowship together and grow together in Christ's teachings and God's grace.  If you are searching for a church home and have never experienced worship in a Disciples of Christ congregation, we encourage you to visit with us each Sunday at 10:30 a.m.  The Disciples of Christ is a nationwide denomination with the distinction of being one of the first denominations created in the United States.  We believe in Christ as the Risen Son of God and we honor and remember Him by partaking of Communion each time we gather.  Our Communion Table is open to all, regardless of church affiliation. We believe the congregation and minister work hand in hand, with each person's participation in the life of the church as important as the next.  We preach a message of growing in God's love and grace....as we have been called to by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ...and not one of fear and judgement.  We strongly believe that in accepting the gift of salvation we are called to love our neighbor as ourselves and strive to help those in need as God has called us to do.
